One of the easiest methods to gain status, leads, credibility and trust from your clients is to scribble your own ebook.
Many of us are threatened by the idea of making their own ebooks but the reality is, the process is really straight-forward and it can be enormously lucrative. If you are already involved in activities such as blogging, article promotion and creating relationships with newsletters, an e-book is only one step beyond in the entire process but can truly give your credibility rating an additional boost.
Here are six steps about how to write your own ebook courtesy of Eben Pagan Ignition program:
1. Select a topic for your audience. Don’t make this into a huge product. Pick something comparatively narrow inside a major subject. So, as an example, if the main topic is “internet marketing”, choose something that fits inside that category like “article marketing”, or you could go further and simplify it down to “keyword research for article marketing”.
bear in mind that for an ebook to work how you need it to, it must actually look at the issues, concerns, or needs of your target audience. The content must be top-of-the-line.
2. Brainstorm. Write down every idea you have, walk away and come back and write more. Put down anything and everything for the moment.
3. Organize your ideas into an outline. Divide your concepts into headers, subheaders, chapters and write descriptions of each point you include. Make sure to maintain a tally of your references and write those down too.
4. Research. Hopefully you have picked a topic that you are acquainted with already but whether you have or haven’t you will have to do research to make your content as valuable as possible. Take notes, mark references and use quotes as you write your own electronic book.
5. Put all of your organized ideas and research into a particularly long article of at least 30 pages – this is your ebook!
6. Get a second opinion . Probabilities are you’ll spend quite a lot of time on this enterprise. Ensure that you step back once in a while to give yourself a break. And when you are near the end, ask someone else to read it for a more objective opinion. Whether it’s your friend, better half or a fellow marketer, make sure you get a good, fair critique and, if feasible, edit of your work.
Once you’re finished, you may either sell your e-book from your blog or internet site or you can offer it free for folk who sign up – the goal of this is to build your list.
If you decide on the 1st option, you’ll have to set up a shopping cart system. You don’t have to charge a lot for your e-book to earn income and as it doesn’t cost anything to create the book (if you do not count the time you spend on it) so anything you sell will be a profit.
So now are you ready to draft your own ebook?
