Affiliate marketing is the right plan of action for a marketer who possesses the singular self confidence, doggedness and inherent ability to get going in his business all by himself.  Taking on the mantle of an one man organization is a tough call because there’s no-one to turn to for advice and there’s also nobody to blame if things go bad.  The buck stops with the owner of the business and with him alone.  Being the master of it all is precisely the factor that gives one the kick, the sense of accomplishment.

The second point is to not lose patience.  One must inculcate the will to form staying power.  It takes guts and one must have guts.  If it takes pushing oneself to the hilt, so be it.  If one gets impatience after a few months of business collapse then all is lost. 

Thirdly, success as affiliate marketer invariably depends on one’s resolution to love the freedom and autonomy of doing it all by oneself.  When things are troublesome one battles hard to stay afloat while if you are successful, one gloats in the sense of victory.  The punch line is “Never give in”. 

Four, there is a big need to imbue order and control in one’s life.  No matter whether the going is bad, discipline must be intact.  One should never forget this. 

Five, success hinges on one key word – brightness.  One must never lose confidence in oneself.  Just as buoyancy rules one’s ship so must buoyancy rule one’s soul.
