The first thing you need to do is ensure that you take it in for regular tune ups.  Tune ups are where you check all the fluids and spark plugs.You also need to perform several diagnostic tests to ensure that the major parts are working well.Doing this ensures your car from running well.  It also helps you pass a smog test.  In my smog test San Diego service we always recommend older cars to do regular tune ups.Because the older your car gets, the more difficult it is to pass the smog test.

Another thing you definitely need to maintain are your car’s brakes.  This is important because brakes that fail are dangerous. Plus they are seriously expensive to have repaired.Like most things, it is better to keep in good condition than waiting for it malfunction.  All my San Diego brake shop clients are given step by step instructions on helping maintain their brakes. This always helps them keep their brakes longer so that they can save from the replacement of brake.
